Emilia Da Costa

Was born in Lisbon where she started her artistic training, studying dance, music and design. With a scholarship from the Gulbenkian Foudation she porsued her training in Italy, where she specialized in Visual Design at the Scuola Politecnica di Design di Milano. As a free lance designer she worked on projects of different nature, but most of her professional career has been dedicated to books: conceiving, illustrating, writing, translating, etc. Lately she has been enjoying more and more painting watercolours, illustrating her thoughts and her soul, mostly for for her own pleasure and, who knows, for the pleasure of those who share her vision of the world.
