Leonardo da Vinci's last masterpiece has been sold at Christie's auction for 450 Million!

Leonardo da Vinci breaks down every record! Or rather, the artwork Salvator Mundi, an oil on canvas paint, was beaten by Christie's auction in New York for a stunning amount of 450 million.

It is still anonymous the lucky buyer. The auction, lasting 19 minutes, has torn every previous record; starting with a basic amount of 75 million, the offers were continuous and wild.

This is Leonardo's last painting (or at least attributed to the Tuscan artist) to end up in private hands.
