Spanish artist Hyuro was hired by Danish authorities in Copenhagen to transform a grey street wall into the nation’s longest piece of street art. Once completed, the finished work will stretch for 271 meters. She is due to start working next month.
Hyuro was chosen among 140 artists in an international competition. Her winning proposal is entitled “In / between” and is demonstrated in this fantastic video.
Hyuro is a female street artist, Argentinian-born but based in Valencia, Spain. She works in fine lines, bold, blacks and whites, sometimes color, either solo, or along with other artists. She is gaining recognition quickly with her strong yet subtle and poetic imagery. Hyuro’s work is relatively recent and has been appearing on walls in Western Europe, mostly Spain.
